Danish Indie Pop Artist Tim Schou Shares Friendship-Focused Hit “Comeback”

Danish singer-songwriter Tim Schou is planning on making the most of the new year, lead by the release of his debut album HERO/LOSER, out April 9th. Marking the announcement, Schou released the lead single “Comeback”, a fitting title for the positivity ahead.

Written during the summer of 2019 in a remote cottage on a Danish island, Scho and producer/songwriter Andreas Ringblom brought out the freshness of a summer breeze and sun-shining optimism in the song’s energy. The booming chorus, making a spotlight for Schou’s warm vocals, incapsilates the song’s theme of reconnecting with old friends after years of growing apart. The ebb and flow of friendship finds a familiar pattern on the song, as the verses dip into a stripped down guitar-pop before brightening for the chorus, incorporating hints of ’90s alt-pop a-la Counting Crows.
