UK Songwriter Lande Hekt Makes A Change In New Video For “December”

Written about feeling afraid to do something or be yourself around someone you like, “December” is a melancholic celebration of the everyday level of courage that can sometimes feel unnecessarily exaggerated. The single-take opening, shot from her bedroom accentuates Hekt’s DIY, indie songwriting and style. Her gentle yet unfiltered vocals float gracefully overtop a crunchy, bedroom-rock guitar melody rife with ’80s-era predecessors like The Replacements, and The Smiths.
