The Bishop Boys Share A Ray Of Hope With New Single “Dark Days”
Windsor-based duo The Bishop Boys have shared their new music video for “Dark Days”. The single was written back in May 2020, during the height of the pandemic, protests, and an exhaustive list of international unrest. Despite its unfortunate inspiration, the best friend duo Austin Di Pietro & Andrew Adoranti (I’m sure they have been mistaken as brothers) wanted to find the light at the end of the tunnel with their melancholic, yet hopeful folk-pop sound.
Originally university trained jazz musicians, Di Pietro and Adoranti have shifted their focus into more soul and folk driven songs, especially on “Dark Days”. The simple flow of two guitars, brass instruments, and duetted vocals gives a shimmering, glowing aesthetic that is a breath of fresh air in these dark, gloomy winter days.
