Beginning her artistic career as a young ballerina with the Maine State, Pacific Northwest, and Colorado ballet companies, Denver-based indie artist Siena Bjorn has since switched gears into dreamy, genre-bending music that hovers between pop, R&B, and a distant taste of jazz. Adding to her growing discography is her latest single “Indigo”, a elegant and edgy piece focused on the freedom from being vulnerable.
About the song, Bjorn shares, “Indigo” is about the fear of letting go and giving in, the fear of letting someone in and how shame can be debilitating and as much as you want to hate the other person for what they did to you. You inevitably have a part to play in your own demise”. Her alluring vocals and dripping instrumentals create a pool of emotion and confidence, as Bjorn flaunts her strengths as an emerging act.
