German Indie Pop Group Rikas Share Sun-Kissed Single “Stereo”
Hailing from Stuttgart, Germany is indie pop four-piece Rikas. The four friends – Sam, Sascha, Chris, and Ferdi, turned their lifelong friendship and love of music into a musical act back in 2016 after spending their youth busking in the streets of European cities playing Beatles covers. With a handful of singles, an EP, and an LP under their belts, Rikas are back with more new music for 2021.
Their latest single “Stereo” is a charming and lively indie pop hit highlighting the band’s resurgence following a pit of self-doubt and uncertainty that came after returning from a worldwide tour in 2019 and into quarantine. Like a ray of hope, “Stereo” playfully brings together synth-pop, summer-themed lo-fi rock, and dance hungry grooves for a fun and irresistible tune.
