French-Canadian Artist Ghostly Kisses Shares Stunning Title Track From Upcoming LP ‘Heaven, Wait’
French-Canadian singer-songwriter Margaux Sauvé, the mind behind the melancholic musical project Ghostly Kisses, has shared her second single and title track from her upcoming album Heaven, Wait, out January 21st via Akira Records. Following up “Don’t Know Why”, Sauvé continues to construct a lush, haunting, and serene soundscape through ethereal instrumentation and gentle piano arrangements.
Recorded at home with the help of musical & life partner Louis-Étienne Santais (an accomplished pianist and musician in his own right), “Heaven, Wait” captures the flux in emotions throughout life through a patient and growing melody, and of course, Sauvé’s angelic vocals.
About the song, she shares: “Heaven, Wait is about transitions: from friendship to love, life to death, solitude to relationship, childhood to adulthood. A transition from the dark towards the light; from difficult experiences to being at peace with these events”
With contemporary production elements in line with Billie Eilish, London Grammar, and Aurora, matched with the elegance of neo-classical, “Heaven, Wait” is a compelling listening experience, elevated by the accompanying choreographed music video.
