Brooklyn’s Spoiled Suede Drops New Collab With B1G Juice “Snap or Naw”
After meeting back in 2017 following a feature on the same blog, Brooklyn-based DJ/producer Spoiled Suede and Toronto-bred rapper B1G Juice realized they had similar backgrounds as previous athletes and, of course, their love for hip-hop. Now onto their second effort together, the duo have dropped the gritty new single “Snap Or Naw”.
Incorporating early New York rap influences from the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, with more contemporary production qualities akin to Run the Jewels , “Snap or Naw” is a crawling, and punchy track about finding the strength to find a balance.
About the song, B1G Juice shares: “It’s a story about a wounded warrior finding his balance through trial and error. It’s about being at the point of no return – where the struggles and pressures surround you and you can either fight or run for your life or choose to remain. ‘Snap Or Naw’ means going for what you want no matter the sacrifices, trials, or tribulations. Standing firm in what drives you and not wavering when faced with obstacles. It’s also about needing to smoke some weed (self-medicating) when you are about to snap on someone.”
