Multi-Instrumentalist This Coast Bias Turns A Voice Note Into Lush Indie Pop Effort On “Come Home”

Multi-instrumentalist/bedroom-pop artist Clay Milford began releasing music as This Coast Bias back in 2019 after growing frustrated with the challenge of “getting a group of people together” to make music. The Oklahoma City-based artist has since put out a bounty of singles, including his latest offering “Come Home”.

Merging the worlds of indie rock and nu-R&B, “Come Home” is a sultry and groovy track that was originally a voice note from a spontaneous moment of inspiration. Semi-autobiographical in nature, TCB elaborates, “I wrote it when my wife was out of town, and I honestly wanted her to just turn right around and come home”.

Simple yet effective, the new single is a cool and collected bedroom-pop track that turns a plea for affection into a miniature dance party.
