Toronto Electronic Producer GOVI Shares New Single “Not What, But How” From Upcoming Full-Length ‘Where Do We Fall’

Toronto-based electronic artist GOVI has officailly announced his new album WHERE DO WE FALL is set for release on May 6th via Platoon.

The 12-track project traverses GOVI’s beat-centric, dancefloor-ready sonics he has become known for as a DJ in Toronto’s underground electronic scene, combined with the ambient, cinematic sound that’s inspired by his love for sci-fi movies and scores like Tarkovsky’s Solaris. Along with the announcement of WHERE DO WE FALL, GOVI shares the single “NOT WHAT, BUT HOW”.

Speaking about the new song, GOVI says, “‘Not What, But How’ was one of the last songs I made for my project. The day I wrote this track I was reading The Power of Now and a line that stuck with me was ‘it’s not about what you’re doing, but how you’re doing it.’ For me, the best things come when my intention is in the right place. I chose the line ‘you don’t know’ to repeat throughout the song because accepting that you don’t know all of the answers allows you to be more in the moment.”
