Emo Rock Group Hibernator Share New Single “Moxie”
Montana emo-rock group Hibernator have shared their new single “Moxie”. Influenced by the likes of Balance & Composure, Citizen, and Dance Gavin Dance, the four-piece focus their sights on riff-heavy guitar and expressive lyricism, following in the footsteps of their predecessors. On their new single, the group give the children of divorce an anti-love song, built on a dance-rock groove and explosive vocal melodies.
The band share, “The song is about divorce culture. How most kids these days were raised in failed relationships and how we tend to follow the lead of our parents. It talks about being in a relationship with someone and not wanting it because the allure has diminished“.
“Moxie” is the first taste of new music in 2023, with more on the way from the four friends.
