Norwegian Alt-Pop Artist Maud Shares Glowing New Single “Stranger”

Norwegian indie pop artist Maud has shared her new single “Stranger”. Incorporating a handful of electronic influences into her music, ranging from hyperpop to trance, the glossy new release puts the artist’s production style at the forefront, gradually opening up the way for synth lines, choppy bass lines, and effect-laden vocals to create a pillar of texture and instrumental structure.

“It’s about all the messy and uncontrollable feelings you go through after breakup,” says Maud of the song. “It describes the feeling of being forgotten by someone you used to be close with. ‘Strangers’ is a pop anthem about all the big feelings in life: anger, confusion, sadness, pain and melancholy.”

She adds: “All this messiness is wrapped into a trance and euro dance inspired track that comes straight from my heart.”
