North Carolina Alt-Pop Group Weston Estate Share New Single “Slowly”

North Carolina five piece Weston Estate have shared their new single “Slowly” and its accompanying picnic-inspired visualizer. The soft R&B-inspired track blends together pieces of sultry bedroom pop, the softness of early-day Frank Ocean, and BROCKHAMPTON style interlocking vocals.

About the song, the band share, “‘Slowly’ has been our favorite for a while and we started playing it live as soon as we made it — the song grew legs of its own as we played it this year and we went through a million iterations just to chase what it felt like live. The song is about having to leave someone who you still care about deeply. Through a full year of changes, we molded it into a song that expresses the sadness of losing someone you love, but also the optimism that something beautiful can come out of it and you can move forward as a new person.”
