Once again, my inbox was filled to the brim with stellar tunes.

Fortunately, I have emerged from the depths of the submission pile with the best of the best from the past week.

Every Monday, I come through with a refresher for your music library, with a collection of the best new singles from the past week. Check out the full From The Inbox playlist at the bottom, and scroll through a few highlights from the collection just below. This week has 50 tracks to bless your ears so there is plenty to go around.

If you want to double down on your From the Inbox experience, you can subscribe to the Dusty Organ Patreon to access the Extended version – with twice as many tracks each and every Monday. Plus, members receive a welcome bundle, along with access to concert & album release schedules, concert galleries, and more!

All of the tracks are worth a like in your music library, but check out a few stand-out highlights from my picks below:

Conor Albert & James Smith – Crescent Moon

London-based multi-instrumentalist Conor Albert & fellow British singer-songwriter James Smith dropped their collaborative new single “Crescent Moon” over the weekend, the latest from Albert’s upcoming project Collage 2, out Spring 2022. The smooth and soulful new offering captures the timeless groove and warmth of R&B and soul, bringing out hints of ’60s and ’70s pioneers with its blues guitar section and gospel-like vocals.

Peach Pit – Look Out

Vancouver favourites Peach Pit recently announced their new album FROM 2 TO 3 will be out on March 4th. The indie pop group have shared their latest single “Look Out!” and its accompanying music video. The new record is expected to highlight the band’s more softer, reflective side and “Look Out!” brings that out through its cinematic visual and poignant songwriting style.

Cyrano – Plaster

Scottish indie songwriter/producer has released his debut EP Consolations on Friday. With a handful of singles having landed on Dusty Organ, “Plaster” is a welcomed addition to the collection, showcasing his ethereal vocal style and dense, yet minimalistic production sense.

July Talk – I Am Water

Toronto alternative rock group July Talk wanted to release their pent-up lockdown energy into their new music. Their latest single “I Am Water” instantly hits the mark, working with a dance-rock groove and anthemic back-and-forth vocals from Peter and Leah.

Orson Wilds – (How Can We) Stay The Same

Off their new EP WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WON’T LET GO?, Toronto-based collective Orson Wilds have shared the single “(How Can We) Stay The Same”. In the spirit of early days-Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene, the Canadian nine-piece bring together lush instrumentation with hopeful melancholic melodies for an anthemic mental-breakdown hit.
