Son Lux Announce Ambitious 3-Part LP With New Single “Plans We Made”
Los Angeles-based experimental electronic trio Son Lux have mastered the chaos on both their 2015 release BONES, and even more so on 2018’S BRIGHTER WOUNDS. The intricate details of their music swirls together varying textures, unsuspecting string arrangements, and dissonant percussion. The group, comprised of frontman Ryan Lott, drummer Ian Chang and guitarist Rafiq Bhatia, have announced their plans to release TOMORROWS, a three-part full-length that will see the first chapter released on August 14th.
Written over the course of three years, TOMORROWS will continue their style of unpredictable experimentation, leaving behind barriers and shape for free-form and discovery. From the first instalment comes “Plans We Made”, a cinematic amalgamation of sharp string accents, pulsating percussive textures, and sombre vocals that shape an expressive, yet discomforting exploration of the uncertainty of life.
